The Clare School Governing Body
The Governing Body is responsible for the strategic leadership of the school and has a vital role to play in making sure that every child gets the best possible education. School governors are volunteers, reflecting the diversity of the school, local community and business community. We work together as a Governing Body to collectively oversee the development of The Clare School. Representatives from all backgrounds and varying ages bring different perspectives to the decision-making process, working closely together for the benefit of the school and its pupils.
At The Clare School, our Governing Body comprises 10 Governors – 3 Parent Governors, 2 Staff Governors, 1 Local Authority Governor, 2 Foundation Trust Governors, 1 Community Governor and we also have 1 Associate Governor.
