Personal & Physical Support Assistant 

The Clare School is looking to appoint a Personal and Physical Support Assistant.  We are a warm and welcoming school, which was recently graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

We are seeking to appoint a enthusiastic and caring Physical and Personal Support Assistant who will support our children and young people throughout the school, who have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs.

You will assist pupils with reduced continence control, toileting, cleaning, changing, ensuring that the pupils are comfortable and treated with dignity at all times.

You will also help pupils with their postural management such as walking, standing frames, and physio routines.  Part of this role will involve helping pupils with their feeding and drinking, including Gastrostomy feeding.

We are looking for a person who:

– Has NVQ level 1 or equivalent

– Is reliable and trustworthy

– Has an exemplary attendance record

– Has a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach

– Is caring and committed

Specialist Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Specialist Support Assistant who will support our children and young people throughout the school.   All our pupils have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs.

We are looking for a person who:

– Has NVQ level 2 or equivalent

– Is reliable and trustworthy

– Has an exemplary attendance record

– Has a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach

– Is caring and committed to the highest standards of support for pupils in our curricula.
