EYFS TO 1 TEACHER

  • Salary – NQT / MPS + 1 SEN Point
  • Temporary – maternity cover
  • Full Time 
  • Required for May 2021

The Clare School is looking to appoint a full time maternity cover EYFS to Year 1 Teacher starting in May 2021.   We are a warm and welcoming school, which was graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted at its last inspection.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring teacher who will work with some of the most complex pupils in our school.  Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs. 

You will plan inspiring learning activities and support our pupils to engage in meaningful, fun lessons.  You will be kind and patient, enabling our pupils to achieve to their highest ability.  You will provide help and support, but foster independence wherever possible.  You will role model a love for learning and show enthusiasm for working with our children and young people.

Interview date:         16 April 2021

Visits to the school can be arranged after school hours wearing appropriate PPE.

ART TEACHER – FULL TIME OR PART-TIME

The Clare School is looking to appoint a part time (0.6 or 0.8) Art Teacher starting in September 2021.   We are a warm and welcoming school, which was graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted at its last inspection.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Art teacher who will work with some of the most complex pupils in our school.  Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs. 

You will plan inspiring learning activities and support our pupils to engage in meaningful, fun lessons.  You will be kind and patient, enabling our pupils to achieve to their highest ability.  You will provide help and support, but foster independence wherever possible.  You will role model a love for learning and show enthusiasm for working with our children and young people.

You don’t need to have any experience working with Complex Needs pupils or any specific training – we will support you with all the training that you need.  We are just looking for someone who wants to work with our fantastic pupils and who wants to make every day amazing.

SPECIALIST SUPPORT ASSISTANT

  • Salary – £10.00 per hour
  • Temporary – 1 year initially (may lead to permanent contract)
  • Part Time
  • 32.5 hours per week
  • Term Time plus 1 week

The Clare School is looking to appoint Specialist Support Assistants.  We are a warm and welcoming school, which was graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted at its last inspection.

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and caring Specialist Support Assistants who will work with the whole range of children and young people throughout the school.  Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs. 

You will assist pupils with their learning activities and support them to engage in the curriculum and classroom lessons.  You will be kind and patient, enabling our pupils to achieve to their highest ability.  You will provide help and support, but foster independence wherever possible.  You will role model a love for learning and show enthusiasm for working with our children and young people.

We are looking for persons who:

– Have NVQ level 2 in childcare or equivalent childcare qualifications

– Are reliable and trustworthy

– Have an exemplary attendance record

– Have a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach

– Are caring and committed to the highest standards of support for our pupils

Tours of the school can be arranged between 4 pm and 4.30 pm (PPE to be worn)
